INT 10 - VESA(Video Electronics Standards Association) An industry group which sets both hardware and software standards and recommendations. The term VESA is also used to denote compliance with the VESA SuperVGA BIOS Extensions, a standard set of video BIOS functions for accessing video modes of higher resolution than those defined by IBMInternational Busiuness Machines. SuperVGA BIOS(Basic Input/Output System) A set of standardized calls giving low-level access to the hardware. The BIOS is the lowest software layer above the actual hardware and serves to insulate programs (and operating systems) which use it from the details of accessing the hardware directly. v1.1+ - GET/SET LOGICAL SCAN LINE LENGTH (PIXELS) AX = 4F06h BL = subfunction 00h set scan line length CX = desired width in pixels 01h get scan line length Return: AL = 4Fh if function supported AH = status 00h successful 01h failed BX = bytes per scan line CX = number of pixels per scan line DX = maximum number of scan lines Notes: if the desired width is not achievable, the next larger width will be set the scan line may be wider than the visible area of the screen this function is valid in text modes, provided that pixel values are multiplied by the character cell width/height SeeAlso: AX=4F01h,AX=4F05h,AX=4F06h/BL=02h,AX=4F06h/BL=03h,AX=4F07h
